Terms and conditions

CIMA is a critical incident management support tool. It provides draft operational, planning and assurance support only. It does not replace command judgement, safeguarding judgement, professional advice, legal advice, medical advice, emergency-service instructions or the decision-making responsibilities of authorised personnel.

CIMA outputs may be incomplete, provisional, out of date or unsuitable for the circumstances unless checked against current facts, live source material, local procedures and the judgement of the responsible human decision maker.

All outputs must be reviewed by an authorised human before reliance, onward communication, operational action, external disclosure, public statement, escalation, de-escalation or record entry.

CIMA must not be used as the sole basis for decisions involving life safety, safeguarding, medical risk, legal rights, disciplinary action, public communications, evacuation, restraint, security response, police liaison or emergency response.

Users remain responsible for checking facts, identifying uncertainty, recording decisions, preserving audit trails, protecting confidential information and escalating matters to the appropriate human authority where required.

Do not enter unnecessary personal, confidential, medical, safeguarding or legally privileged information. Where such information is required for a legitimate operational purpose, enter only the minimum necessary information.

Transcripts, access records and session outputs may be retained for governance, audit, quality assurance, incident review and compliance purposes, subject to the organisation's agreed data handling rules.

Demo access is for temporary testing only. It must not be treated as production access control and must not be used for live incidents unless specifically authorised.

Enter email, access code and accept terms to continue.
